Funny things Chesson says

Chessy hasn't yet mastered the "L" sound. It creates some great moments.
"I YIKE yert!!!(yogurt)" When she hears me call it "yert" she looks at me like I'm insane and corrects me. "Yert!"
"I open the yight!" (I turned on the light.)

I do it!

Chesson has recently entered the hitting/biting phase. She is going to time out fairly often. Fortunately, she is still in the "I do it myself!" phase. The conversation goes more or less like this:
Mom: Chessy, go to time out.
Chessy: NO!
Mom: Should I take you or would you like to go by yourself?
Chessy: I do it myself!
And then she goes to her room and stays until she is happy again. I'm baffled by the easiness of it. This can't possibly last, but I'll enjoy it while it does.

ABC confussion

Chesson was helping me fold laundry. She noticed a t-shirt with writing on it. She pointed to the words and said "Numbers!" Then she began to sing, "A B C D E S P How I wonder what you are."

The kids are getting ready for the Primary Sacrament Meeting Presentation next week. Here are their parts and a couple of songs. Also, Chesson having her moment in the spotlight. I think she will be disappointed when the rest of the kids go up on the stand and she has to stay with me. Echo wasn't very impressed with this idea, but we were glad that she was willing to participate.
